Sclavos Winery, established in 1996 by Evriviadis Sclavos, is situated in Lixouri on the island of Kefalonia, Greece. The winery is renowned for its commitment to organic and biodynamic viticulture, producing natural wines that authentically express the unique terroir of Kefalonia – “It is a philosophy of life – not a fashion trend,” as he puts it.

Location and Terroir
The vineyards are located on the slopes of Mount Ainos, benefiting from diverse microclimates and limestone-rich soils. This environment is ideal for cultivating indigenous Greek grape varieties, contributing to the distinctive character of the wines.

Philosophy
Sclavos Winery adheres to organic and biodynamic farming practices, emphasizing minimal intervention in both the vineyard and the cellar. The philosophy centers on producing wines that are a true reflection of the land. Always using the local grapes of Robola, Mavrodaphne, Tsaousi and Vostilidi and with a focus on sustainability and respect for nature.

Vino di Sasso: A Robola wine known for its purity and mineral character.
Alchymiste Rosé: A dry rosé from the indigenous Mavrodaphne grape.
